RESISTA Inc. A JAPANESE CAR DEALER SWINDLING HUGE SUMS OF MONEY FROM UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS.
Many unsuspecting Zambians have been swindled huge sums of money by a Japanese car dealer called Rezista inc. Sources have indicated that this scam has been reported even in other countries like Zimbabwe and Kenya. Mr. Kingsley Chisenga of Kitwe has been swindled of $15950 which he wired to this company for the purchase of a Landcruiser prado in March this year. He has since reported this scam to Interpol who has to contact the Japan state police for the possible arrest of these swindlers. This company has been collecting money from customers but has not been shipping the vehicles. The director for this company is Mr. Ryota Kamijo & the sales representatives are Mr. Ohori and Mr. Arakawa. People looking for vehicles are therefore advised not to do business with this company.

ReplyDeleteRecently, one of the fraudster in Tradecarview was caught by japanese police. In that case, the customer who lost the money contacted Interpol, then finally the fraud was caught.
ReplyDeleteAll of them sent the money to such fraudster, because the Fraudster is showing their FAKE stocks at really CHEAP price.... then, finally the customer never receive the vehicle, even if you contacted that company, but they never catch your phone call.....
Why the people will not become more smart.... even, there are a lot of victims who already lost the money by the fraudster in Tradecarview.....
The company (Rezista) was not answering on email for many days now but they did send the car by ship. At least i picked up the BOL and all other documents which look in order. (not sure if the car will be as promised or if there is actually a car on the ship)

Yes, I don't know whether they are scam or not...... If you will receive the vehicle, maybe you will NOT think that Rezista is NOT the scam...... but, there are many people who lost their money by that company.... even if you don't think they are NOT scam, but these people who lost their money is thinking that they are SCAM.

ReplyDeleteI got my vehicle form them but am certainly not happy with it. its very very rusty underneath and the rating they showed should have been 3 (at most) not 4. But the car arrived and it works well. The weird thing about seems that some get conned and other not. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO BUY FROM THEM.

ReplyDeleteThose Rezista people are REAL cheats. Until they collect monye, they call, send message and even Arakawa tries to speak in Swahili. We have tried many ways to find out their nature and how they do business. They have such simple strategy. Out of 5 people, they send cars for 2 customers and steal the money of the three. The funny thing is they send business card etc for the lucky once to whom they decided to send cars and ask them to introduce them to other customers. I am among those who LOST but have few colleagues who also received cars. So far there are nearly 20 of us cheated (I am trying to collect information from all). Now they have stopped responding e-mails !
I think those of us who have lost huge amount of money should form a forum and fight those guys. I think this should also concern the government of Japan. They said they have office in Uganda and when we ask them, they said they have stopped 'doing business with them".
(Sorry for writing long, I am really angry at what happened).
I think generally we search internet, communicate dealers and buy. Also we ask those who bought already. The problem with these Rezista is that they send to few and if you happen to ask those who have received, you tend to believe.
ReplyDeleteHave a look at their website too. They say (not sure if they have removed it now) that they will give $300 for anyone who brings one customers. I have no idea if they have ever done that. And the frequency of their communication until they get the money is unbelievable. They even call frequently. And they somehow communicate well for those to whom they decide to send.

The List of names of people being swindled of their money by Rezista is long. And they are still collecting money and not up dating their website. Look at the list of vehicles, same old vehicles for ages.
ReplyDeleteI think we have to collaborate and make sure that those people are not stealing any more. Losing 16,000 USD is not a joke for an African individual and they should not be allowed to harm people. We are trying with Embassies, Interpol etc but applications individually don't attract attention. It is better to join forces and even try to claim compensation from the Government of Japan? Why not ! Otherwise, they should not allow such people on their land.

They usually call and send nice messages to those they decided not to steal (I have no idea of their criteria) and ask them to introduce them to other customers. REZISTA are not genuine at all. Observe carefully the vehicles on their website - their plates are covered with 'white piece of paper'. Because those vehicles do not exist in their store. They are taken from shopping moll pr parking lot. We also noted that they are not 'registered' company?

Hey Zambians, lets team up and file an official complaint to the Japanese government. We can not allow these selfish fellows to steal our hard earned cash like this. ReplyDeleteThere are also movements in Malawi and Kenya to contact police and Interpol. We have already communicated Japan Embassies (individually) and now we are going to apply through the police. We are also trying to communicate police, lawyers etc through friends and contacts in Japan. At some stage we may need to have "common signed" letter and communicate those to Japanese police etc and the respective offices in Africa.
We have to remember that those guys have our money and they are still trying to cheat people. They should be stopped by whatever means and we need to make sure that the Japanse government also compensates our loss. They are allowed to operate in Japann and it is up to the Government of Japan to control illegal people within its boundary.

There are many people who have been cheated and are being cheated by those people and specifically the guy whose photo is shown above. There are already FOUR people that I know having lost their money. And what makes the cheats able to cheat thus far is because they send cars to few customers, so that they look genuine. Friend, it is not because their prices were cheap that we sent our money. It is mainly because we trusted those so called "Civilized Societies" and assumed that Japanese don't cheat.
